Beauty & The Beast

All About Skincare:

What do I use for oily skin?

1.An oil control skin care line with proper exfoliation.

2.Cleanse day and night to absorb excess oil in the skin.

3.Use an oil control mask or dry oil control gel.

4.Oil control makeup.

5.Oil-free skin care treatments including anti-aging (stay with lotions, not creams).

Is your skin dull? Give it a boost with Vitamin C! Try to use a cream instead of a serum for really soft skin! You will have a great glow in seconds.

What do I use for dry skin?

1.A dry skin care line with good hydration.

2.Cleanse day and night and use a hydrating mask.

3.Use a gentle hydrating toner (thick one) and dry skin exfoliator.

4.Hydrating makeup.

5.All dry skin care treatments including anti-aging (always use a thick cream and not a lotion.

Use a thick hydrating night cream and of course a Vitamin C treatment. Get that glow back to your skin with Vitamin C! Anti-aging treatments go on first, than moisturizer.

If your having trouble with lines and wrinkles, really focus on your exfoliation. You can try an at home peel also. Use a cosmetic line that is known in the industry for their skin care and anti-aging products. A common mistake is buying "cheap" and not "quality." Please don't waste your money on products that will do absolutely nothing for your face. I always hear "It's the same thing as the expensive product." Well, I hate to burst your bubble! It's not the same thing.

I found myself taking care of people with cancer and it surprised me. I had to brush foundation around surgery scars? Would I hurt her in doing so? As I gently brushed the foundation on, I prayed that I wouldn't hurt her face. She sat there quietly and so anxious to see the result. I prayed that I would cover her scars and make her feel happy and alive again. I thought to myself, "Please make her feel wonderful!" She had one eye left after surgery and it pained me to see it while applying her makeup. I made believe that nothing was wrong and continued on as if she was just another customer.

I managed to hide my fear well. Her skin was rough after surgery. She looked at me for the answer. Could I give the answer to her? I had no clue. I just did what I was trained to do and what I knew in my heart would help her.

After I did her makeup, she spent $1,500.00 and purchased 42 products. Is that normal, I said to myself? No, the average person spends $40.00. Alright, this must be a one time thing then. Well, all of a sudden, people were lining up to see me. There were 15 people on line to see me? I thought it was just crazy. I sold more products than the National Makeup Artist? Could this really be happening? I didn't say a word about it. I just kept helping everyone because they needed me so badly. Women really felt so unattractive. I guess this was what I was meant to do all of my life.

Well, it all started about ten years ago when I first started in cosmetics. Little did I know, that I would be great at it! I found myself with hundreds of customers that relied on every word I said. Well, it was time to really get serious about what I was doing.

This is why I started a blog and website. I wanted to share everything that I have learned with all of you.
